Dusan Stojanovic, cellist,
was born in Belgrade, Serbia. He began with musical education
in music schools “Dr.V.Vuckovic”
and “Stankovic” and in 1987 graduated from Faculty
of Music in
Belgrade where he studied cello with prof. Francoise Jakovcic.
He obtained the Konzert-Diplom at Musik-Konservatorium in Schaffhausen,
Switzerland, under the mentorship of prof. Michael Flaksman ( USA
). He participated in numerous master-classes in former Yugoslavia
and abroad and studied with professors D.Safran, B.Pergamenschikow
and F.Lodeon. Among most significant master-classes are those in
Groznjan, ”Academie d`ete” in Nice, France, “Wiener
Meistercourse”
in Austria, and “Carl Flecsh Academie” in Baden-Baden, Germany.
Dusan Stojanovic performs as
a soloist and in various chamber ensembles. He is the member of
the renowned Belgrade
String Quartet, and with this ensemble he played at numerous
concerts and Festivals in Serbia and abroad ( Italy, Germany,
USA and some former Yugoslav republics – Macedonia, Bosnia and
Croatia ) and recorded four CD-s.
